> OBITUARY. Garrett Beeso.
On April 4th there passed from amongst us a most worthy
citizen and a man of unimpeachable integrity in the person of the late Garrett
> Beeso. Although the deceased had been ailing for some time, yet the blow
> came rather suddenly and unexpectedly. He was attended by our esteemed
> pastor who administered the last rites and prepared him for eternity. He
> had reached the age of 77 years and leaves a widow, three sons and four
> daughters to mourn their loss. His funeral, the arrangements of which
were in charge of Undertaker Dunphy, took place from his residence, attended by
> the members of the Star of the Sea Association, of which he was a member.
> The procession wended its way to Holy Cross Church where Mass for the
repose of his soul was celebrated by the Rev. Father Finn. After which the
solemn cortege followed the remains to the central cemetery where all that was
mortal of a kind husband, loving father and venerable citizen was laid to
> rest in the family plot, there to await the final summons. To the
sorrowing relatives we extend our sympathy. COM.
